More on-going research. We have attempted to map out social and ecological relationships in and around Port Harcourt with the goal of isolating points for architectural intervention, and for maximum effect on the whole system. See original post about research on oil in the Niger Delta here.

Working in landscape (/) urbanism I think this method of systems analysis will be increasingly important. In some ways, it seems like a means to make this vague Jaime Lerner -esque notion of urban acupuncture into more of a science.
Basically, how can we merge these familiar notions of ecosystem representation:
