Zukunftsszenarien/Potential Futures

Here are the English-language versions of some cartoon-like drawings I made with Ana Vrgoc at the Bauhaus Dessau a few weeks ago, part of which were used by Theo Deutinger for the Energy Landscapes 3.0 exhibit, now at Überlebenskunst Festival at the Haus Der Kulturen Der Welt.

The basic idea resulted from a historical analysis of energy use in Germany (black line on the left had side), and the social, political and economic ramifications therein. The cartoons are not about making predictions per se, but rather highlighting  different positions within the current and historical discourse on energy and society.
We don't mean to suggest things are this clear cut or mutually exclusive, but rather use thinking like this to ultimately begin to better understand different approaches to constructing nature.
